All Started In A Garden
"Gardening is an art form," writes
George Grant, "in which man is allowed to learn
at the knee of God's very creation. From the beginning,
mankind has been at home in a garden. With their flowers
and herbs, trees and vines, vegetables and fruits, gardens
have always provided quiet and rest form the wearying
labor of life."
While garden's began as a practical necessity, they
have always been beautiful. From Claude Monet's water
lilies to Vita Sachville West's hedgerows, from Nebuchadnezzars's
hanging bazaar to Churchill's Chartwell, from Shakespeare's
herbiaries to Hilaire Belloc's vineyards, gardens have
shaped our lives and our world.
GreenPro passionately continues the tradtion.
